Overview
Our client, an established, family run, not-for-profit, Independent Fostering Organisation, recently opened an office in Herefordshire and has experienced an unprecedented level of interest from new foster carers and those wishing to transfer from other fostering organisations.
In order to support the foster carers in Herefordshire and surrounding counties, the organisation is looking to appoint a full time Supervising Social Worker, starting in January 2018. The successful candidate will report to the Fostering Manager and support foster carer families by attending LAC and PEP reviews, conduct monthly supervisions, liaise with the placing Local Authority and attend training courses and young people activity days.
Applicants require a good understanding of current practice and legislation, must have at least 3 years post qualifying experience, be HCPC registered and hold a full driving licence.
